Summary: I will preface this by saying that we were given a partial refund, but I do feel like a few things should be mentioned. When we arrived, the property was very dirty. It looked like someone had started cleaning and then stopped halfway through. Cleaning supplies were left out on the counters. Two of the three bathrooms were quite dirty, the beds weren’t made, and there was laundry left in both the washer and dryer. The floors had crumbs and debris throughout the space. Because of this, we ended up spending most of our first evening cleaning, making beds, and finishing laundry ourselves. We didn’t receive any communication from the cleaners or the help number until hours later—by that point, we had already handled everything on our own. That said, the property itself has potential depending on what you’re looking for. It would work well for a group of college kids who need a place to crash. The outdoor space is a highlight—the porch is fantastic, and in nice weather it would be great for kids to run around and enjoy. However, for our group, it didn’t feel particularly cozy or comfortable. Seating inside wasn’t very inviting, and overall the space lacked that “relaxing getaway” feel. While having three full bathrooms was definitely a plus, the kitchen felt outdated and not well-maintained—we even found bugs in the sugar, which concerning. Overall, this place could be enjoyable with better cleaning and upkeep, but in its current state, it didn’t meet expectatations for comfort.
