Take the trip! Are you ready to get out and enjoy some sunshine and peaceful lake time? Our home has been newly remodeled with many new updates including a larger dock! Enjoy four bedrooms, three with king beds and one with a queen bed. Newly remodeled bathrooms, one with a slate tiled shower and the other with a tiled shower and tub combo. Luxury vinyl plank throughout most of the house as well as stainless steel appliances in the kitchen! The best features are our fabulous outdoor spaces! A beautiful outdoor bar on the lake level with fans for those hot days and a TV, a fully screened in porch above or relax at our table and chairs right on the dock! We are just off the main channel in a quiet, laid back cove, the perfect spot to wake up and enjoy the views with your morning coffee on the screened in porch. Spend your day floating or fishing off the dock. End your day enjoying a cocktail at the outdoor bar area with a TV. There's lots of outdoor seating to enjoy your time with family and friends. Our home is offered for the family style vacation, featuring 3 bedrooms with king beds and one bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a sets of bunk beds and sleeper sofa queen size bed in the lake level family room area great for your kids! Laundry is on the lake level to wash all your lake gear. The house sits just inside of Cape Hollow Cove at about the 8 mm of the main channel, in a quiet neighborhood.
While we would very much like for you to enjoy your trip here we also require that you treat our neighbors with respect and observe quiet hours after 11pm. IF YOU ARE WANTING A LATE NIGHT PARTY PLACE FOR YOUR TRIP THIS IS JUST NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Outdoor Spaces- The outdoor spaces at this home are a must see! The spacious screened in porch is perfect for your morning cups of coffee or evening cocktails. It is a great space for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful panoramic lake views. The lake level patio has a fabulous outdoor bar with a gas grill, tv and dining set. There is ample seating for all your guests to enjoy the game on tv, and lots of laughter with family and friends. The dock is just steps away with a swim deck, dry steps and a 12'x24' slip for your boat! Take the family to float by the dock or sun on the deck chairs. Our house is just inside the cove so you can enjoy a little calmer waters on the dock. We do encourage you to bring your own life jackets for safety and to ensure a proper fit.
Lake Level- On the lake level there is a large family room with Smart Roku TV for your movies or gaming interests. There is a bathroom with a shower and laundry appliances. We provide a starter supply of laundry soap pods and dryer sheets for guests. There are two bedrooms on the lake level, one with with a queen bed, a view of the lake and a smart TV. The other room features a king bed and smart TV. In the lake level family room there is a sets of bunk beds and queen sized sofa sleeper providing additional sleeping space for kids.
Upper Level- From the roadside entrance you find a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots and pans that you may need for cooking at home including some spices. The stainless steel appliances with an ice maker and filtered water dispenser in the fridge. The dining table will accommodate 8 guests with additional dining space on the screened in porch. There is a combination coffee maker featuring Keurig brewing as well as traditional coffee making with a starter supply of pods for coffee drinkers. The living room area has a Roku smart tv with guest login and free content from Roku. Our two road level bedrooms both feature king size beds with a variety of pillows to accommodate all sleepers. Each bedroom also has a Roku smart tv and closet space.
Parking- As is common at the lake, the road to our house is narrow and curvy and parking is VERY tight. Our parking area was recently paved, we have 3 parking spaces available. If you are bringing a boat trailer you will need to find a boat ramp with trailer parking available or make other arrangements for your trailer. We would suggest contacting Westside RV Park, they will typically rent parking spaces for trailers or extra cars and are less than a mile from our house. Another option would be to use Public Beach 2 (commonly referred to as PB2) they offer one of the best ramps at the lake and several parking spaces for rent for truck and trailer combos but are further from our home.
THERE IS A SHARED EASEMENT THROUGH OUR PARKING AREA WITH EASEMENTS FOR BOTH NEIGHBORS THROUGH OUR PARKING AREA. YOU CAN NOT BLOCK THE PARKING AREA AND MUST ALLOW THE NEIGHBORS ACCESS THRU THE AREA AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT PLAN TO BRING MORE THAN THREE VEHICELS, THERE IS SIMPLY NOT ROOM!
Upon check out you will be required to load the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher and collect all your trash and take it out to the street side garbage cans.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FOR SECURITY AND THE PROTECTION OF OUR NEIGHBORS THERE IS AN OUTDOOR NOISE LEVEL MONITOR AND FIVE CAMERAS CAPABLE OF RECORDING BOTH AUDIO AND VIDEO OUTSIDE OUR HOUSE. THEY ARE LOCATED AT THE ROAD LEVEL DOOR, ONE ON A TREE ALONG SIDE THE GARAGE IN THE PARKING AREA, ONE AT THE ROADSIDE GARBAGE CANS, ONE AT THE LAKE LEVEL DOOR AND ONE ON LAKE SIDE COVERING THE DOCK AREA. TAMPERING WITH THE CAMERAS OR THE NETWORK WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION WITH NO REFUND FOR YOUR REMAINING TIME.
We strongly encourage our guests to purchase trip insurance in case anything comes up on short notice that effects your travel plans. The trip insurance will help reimburse your expenses incurred if you should need to cancel your trip. If you should need to cancel our cancellation policy will apply, it does allow for a 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days prior to your arrival, a 50% refund for cancellations 14 days prior to your arrival, no refund is available for cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival.
