In the meantime, there is a public beach access point located directly next to this complex that guests access conveniently through the parking garage. Most guests prefer to use this access point even when the pool deck is open because it's much closer to the elevators. Like every property in the area, there's always a possibility of some construction-related noise. This noise could come from this property or neighboring properties. The city sustained hurricane damage in 2022 and ongoing construction continues throughout the city.
Completion is expected by Fall 2023, tentatively. Rates have already been reduced through 2023 to reflect any potential delays but with the reopening scheduled for sometime this Fall. We do not anticipate the project extending into 2024.*
In the meantime, the beach ramp impact to guests at Opus is minimal because there is a public beach access directly next to the complex. Guests typically use this access regardless because it's easier to get to from the room. Simply take the elevator down to the garage and the beach access is right through the garage. Please know the general beach in our city has much less "beach area" left than normal due to the hurricane. Prices and actual availability are as shown.
