The Cabin Experience
Inside, Melrose welcomes guests with warm natural materials and calming tones that reflect the quiet beauty of the surrounding forest.
The main living area features expansive windows overlooking the trees, filling the space with natural light and creating a peaceful connection to the surrounding landscape. A comfortable living room with a fireplace offers an inviting place to relax after a day spent exploring the mountains.
The full kitchen and dining area provide ample space for preparing and sharing meals together, whether enjoying a slow breakfast before heading out for the day or gathering for a relaxed evening dinner.
Melrose offers generous sleeping accommodations with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, making it ideal for families and groups traveling together. The primary suite provides a peaceful retreat complete with its own private balcony overlooking the forest. Additional bedrooms include one king bedroom and one queen bedroom, while the cozy bunkroom for six creates a fun and welcoming sleeping space loved by younger guests.
The spa-inspired bathrooms feature natural stone finishes along with rainfall showers, heated toilet seats, and plush robes, creating a relaxing place to unwind after a day of hiking, waterfall chasing, or exploring nearby towns.
Throughout the home, additional spaces make the stay especially memorable. Orchard’s Edge Mountain Retreat is currently welcoming guests for the soft opening of Phase 1 of our five-phase boutique resort development.

All vehicles, trailers, and recreational equipment must remain on designated paved parking areas and may not be parked on grass, landscaping, or mulch. Each cabin has a designated parking capacity as follows:

Cortland Cabin: Maximum of 2 vehicles
Ambrosia Abode: Maximum of 2 vehicles
If you are traveling with additional vehicles, a large trailer, or recreational equipment that cannot be accommodated within your cabin’s designated parking area, please contact us in advance and we will gladly assist you with an alternate parking location on the property.
Noise & Outdoor Conduct
