As you enter, the Pine + Arrow Cottage will greet you with a flood of natural light beaming through the french doors that open up onto a large and peaceful backyard adorned with majestical pine and oak trees, string lights, and a large deck. The shed in the backyard offers fun outdoor games that will keep kids of all ages entertained, and for the adults, you'll find yoga mats and light weights.
Upstairs you can snuggle on the queen bed in the master bedroom, and for the kiddos, you'll find a second bedroom with two twin beds just across the hall. The kids' room includes books and games to keep the kiddos entertained! Both bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep you comfortable during warmer nights, as there's no air conditioning in the home—the luxurious remodeled bathroom with shower ensures a fantastic start to your day.
A beautifully renovated kitchen allows you to begin the day with morning coffee or tea and cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you decide you'd like to cook outside, there is a family-sized griddle in the backyard for you to show off your chef skills. Or take a seat in one of the deck chairs or lounge on the outdoor sofa as you wait for dinner to finish and enjoy the view--you will see lots of birds and squirrels!
On the home's main level, you'll find a remodeled bathroom with a shower and an enchanting bedroom with a queen bed. The living room is outfitted with designer furnishings, a sofa, two comfortable chairs, a large wood-burning fireplace, and a smart TV. Additionally, you'll find a cozy dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, and bathroom with a shower on this floor.
Please feel free to enjoy smart TV— you can login to all your favorite accounts. You will have high-speed internet across the entire house, or enjoy board games, books, or puzzles during your stay.
Important Things to Note:
Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and has been restricted to OWNERS ONLY until recently. We are excited to offer lake passes to our guests. Instructions will be given at check-in! It requires a trip to the ALA office to obtain some wristbands and then you'll be allowed access. This access includes beautiful trails, Tavern Bay for beach time and bathing and Peninsula Park. Unfortunately, boats, kayaks and other water vehicles are prohibited by STR renters. Some other great ways to enjoy lake views are by visiting the Lake Arrowhead Village or MacKay Park. One of our favorite ways to enjoy the lake is by taking a trip on the Arrowhead Queen Tour Boat. It's very common for the captain / boat guide to give children a chance to steer the boat!
**NO PETS PLEASE** We have a strict no pet policy. We do love our furry four legged friends, but in an effort to maintain the condition of our cottage and respect all guests and varied allergens, we must hold firm on this policy. Bringing pets into the cottage will result in additional fines and Airbnb will contact you. Any pet hair/urine/feces found ion the beds, furniture, rugs or yard will result in additional fines at the renter’s expense.
No parties are allowed at this location and quiet hours are between 10:00pm-8:00am.
This is a non-smoking property (including vaping). Lake Arrowhead is highly vulnerable to fires. If you must smoke, please do so on the pavement in front of the property and dispose of items responsibly. Thank you.
PLEASE NOTE* There is no air-conditioning at the property, we have ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, but if you are someone that needs AC, then you may want to consider a property with AC. The cottage does not get hot unless the temp is over 90 degrees.
