This delightful home is in Point Chautauqua on Chautauqua Lake, a beautiful lakeside resort community of quaint homes on winding lanes and towering trees. Beautifully decorated with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Enjoy amazing perennial gardens from the porch, patio, hammock or arbor swing. The vacation home has been professionally decorated to make it a warm, relaxing spot. Well appointed kitchen and modern baths. First floor full bath and queen bedroom; Upstairs – 2 twins bedroom, double bed bedroom and a twin bed w/pop-up trundle room plus 2nd full bath; patio with gas grill, chiminea, table, chairs and umbrella; large fenced yard; mooring and non-motorized dingy available. The 4-bedroom/2-bath house was well-insulated during its total remodel. Ductless AC downstairs, AC in upstairs double bedroom. It has ceiling fans in all rooms for comfort. Sit and relax on the charming front porch or enjoy the privacy of the side porch and patio. Enjoy the extensive perennial gardens from the hammock, arbor swing or garden bench. Watch the sunset over the lake from a bench or swing on the Point. Point Chautauqua is on the national register of historic places due to the 1875 design and of its quiet streets and community areas by Frederick Law Olmsted, an eminent 19th century landscape designer. It was his idea of the perfect terrain, hillside beside water. Many of the homes reflect the Victorian era. Please note: It is NOT lakefront but just about 100 yards from the lake along a paved community path. Maximum occupancy is 8 guests including infants and children; no pets. Linens supplied/included in cleaning fee.
